In fact, there are still many ways to polish the surface of the car, including the following: 1. mechanical polishing: mechanical polishing is a polishing method, due to the plastic deformation of the surface of the material, after polishing, cutting and removing the raised part to obtain a smooth surface. Generally speaking, oilstone sticks, wool wheels, sandpaper, etc. are mainly used for manual operation. For special parts such as the surface of the rotary body, auxiliary tools such as turntables can be used. In the grinding and polishing liquid containing abrasive, the abrasive is tightly pressed on the processing surface of the workpiece to achieve high-speed rotation. Chemical polishing: Chemical polishing is to make the slightly convex part of the material surface preferentially dissolve in the chemical medium than the concave part, so as to obtain a smooth surface of the carriage board. The main advantage of this method is that it does not require complicated equipment, can polish workpieces with complex shapes, and can polish multiple workpieces at the same time, with high efficiency. The core problem of chemical polishing is the preparation of polishing solution. The surface roughness obtained by chemical polishing is typically 10 μm

Electrolytic polishing The basic principle of electrolytic polishing is the same as chemical polishing, that is, by selectively dissolving the small protruding parts on the surface of the material to make the surface smooth. Compared with chemical polishing, it can eliminate the influence of cathode reaction and has better polishing effect. The electrochemical polishing process is divided into two steps:(1) Macro-leveling, dissolution products diffuse into the electrolyte, and the geometric roughness of the material surface is reduced, RA>1 μm. (2) shimmer flat, anodic polarization, improved surface brightness, RA<1μm

Ultrasonic polishing: Put the carriage plate into the abrasive suspension, assemble in the ultrasonic field, and rely on the ultrasonic oscillation to carry out abrasive grinding and polishing on the surface of the workpiece. The macro force of ultrasonic machining is small and will not cause deformation of the workpiece, but it is difficult to manufacture and install the mold. Ultrasonic machining can be combined with chemical or electrochemical methods. On the basis of solution corrosion and electrolysis, ultrasonic vibration is used to stir the solution to separate the dissolved products on the surface of the workpiece, and the corrosion or electrolyte near the surface is uniform; ultrasonic cavitation in the liquid can also control the corrosion process, which is conducive to surface brightness.

5. Fluid polishing: Fluid polishing is based on the high-speed flow of liquid and its abrasive particles to clean the surface of the workpiece to achieve the purpose of polishing. The commonly used methods are abrasive jet processing, liquid jet processing, fluid power grinding and so on. Fluid power grinding is driven by hydraulic pressure, so that the liquid medium carrying abrasive particles flows back and forth at high speed on the surface of the workpiece. The medium is mainly made of special compounds with good fluidity at low pressure and mixed with abrasives. The abrasive may be a silicon carbide powder.
